Termite Treatment

Termites

There is nothing more upsetting to a home owner than the thought of a pest silently destroying the wood parts to there most prized possession. Termites travel through the ground looking for food. Simply put termites need two things to thrive, that is soil with moisture and wood for food.

Termites build shelter tubes to protect them from drying out and enemies. This is one of the first things you will see as they work there way to the wood structure. Here are some ways to help prevent conditions for termite entry:

  • Keep all gutters and down spouts in good condition. This helps to keep water away from the foundation.
  • Move loose wood or firewood away from the structure.
  • Fix all leaking pipes.
  • Repair all rotten or decayed wood.
  • Avoid using wooden garden bed material.
  • Avoid all wood to ground contact leading up to the structure.

Our proven inspection process.

Peskies Pest Control will conduct an inside, outside, and crawlspace inspection to make sure that termites have not gained access to your home. Here are all the steps to ensure you are free from termites:

Our Treatment

Termites constantly forage under ground for new sources of food. Colonies can be one million or more, and they work 24/7. So why not fight them at there own game? We use the Sentricon Always Active Bait Stations around the outside perimeter of your home. The stations are penetrated into the ground where termites are always looking for food, and the best part is the termites feed of the stations before ever finding your home.
